Level 1 Course
City & Guilds 7722 Machine Embroidery NEW FOR 2010
This course  with Sue Lancaster covers a small amount of design work with application to machine embroidery techniques. The expected time allowed for the coursework is 30 hours, 15 of which will be spent in the studio with the tutor, divided into 3 one day workshops at monthly intervals.
The studio days are: Saturdays 27th February, 27th March and  24th April (10.00 - 16.00)             and it is expected that the work will be finished and handed in by the end of May/beginning of June.                                                             
The charge for the course is £200 which includes all fees to City & Guilds, 3 days tuition, some materials and use of the equipment at the studio. You will need to spend a small amount on materials on top of this. You will need a sewing machine which does straight stitch and zigzag. You may borrow a studio sewing machine when at the studio if you wish.
If it is popular Sue will consider offering another set of dates and also the possibility of the same but in 'Hand Embroidery'.
Complete the  Booking form  to register for the course and send it to the studio address with a deposit. Full payment will be required before the start date.
