City & Guilds 7822 Design for Craft Course work consists of an introduction to the elements of design, ‘Marks and Lines, Colour, Texture, Shape, Pattern and Form, through practical application of art materials.
City & Guilds 7822 Embroidery Hand and machine embroidery. Course work consists of 10 major samples of techniques and processes followed by two projects to design and make a cushion and a wall hanging.
City & Guilds 7822 Fashion Course work consists of 10 major samples followed by two projects to create different outfits using commercial patterns.
City & Guilds 7822 Felt Making Course work consists of experimentation and developments through traditional and contemporary processes to create 10 major samples followed by two projects to design and make 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional items in felt.
City & Guilds 7822 Hand Knitting Course work consists of 10 major samples followed by two projects to make different garments using commercial patterns as necessary.
City & Guilds 7822 Textile Decoration Dyeing and printing fabric. Course work consists of 10 major samples of techniques and processes such as Batik and Shibori, followed by two projects to design and make lengths of fabric, one of which must be for a designated purpose.
